P. Kay Wagoner

P. KAY WAGONER, Ph.D. has served as CEO and President of ICAgen since
the company’s founding. During her tenure, she has successfully managed
the growth of ICAgen, negotiating three multi-year collaborations with
large pharmaceutical companies, raising over $31 million in venture
financing, and directing scientific activities. Prior to founding
ICAgen, Dr. Wagoner worked as the Head of Physiology and Biophysics at
Glaxo where she initiated and led all ion channel drug discovery
efforts. Dr. Wagoner is a North Carolina native, receiving a Ph.D. in
Physiology from the University of Carolina, Chapel Hill.
