Norm Chambers

NORM CHAMBERS joined NCI Building Systems, Inc., as President and Chief
Operating Officer in April 2004, having served on the Board of Directors
as an independent Director since June 2003. Prior to joining NCI, he was
President and Chief Operating Officer of Comfort Systems USA, a leading
national mechanical contracting company. Mr. Chambers spent over 25
years in the engineering and construction industry. During that period,
he worked on and successfully led project teams, constructing and
installing oil and gas production facilities in the US, Europe and Asia.
Following a three-year period leading the estimating and bidding
activities of Sub Sea International, a subsidiary of Ocean Drilling and
Exploration Company (ODECO), Mr. Chambers was recruited in 1985 to be
President of the Taylor Diving Company, a Halliburton Company
subsidiary. After expanding the global operations, he was promoted in
1992 to Managing Director of Brown & Root Energy Services, a $1 billion
facilities engineering and construction Halliburton subsidiary. In 1996,
he was promoted to lead one of Halliburton’s five divisions as President
of Halliburton Energy Development, reporting to the then Chairman,
President and CEO, Dick Cheney. Mr. Chambers left Halliburton in 2000 to
become CEO of Petrocosm, an Internet energy industry procurement startup
founded by Chevron Texaco and Crosspoint Venture Partners. In 2001, he
joined Capstone as President of the distributed power generation. He is
a graduate of Springfield College and earned an MBA at Boston College.
Mr. Chambers is the past Chairman of the Scotland Chapter of Young
Presidents’ Organization.
