Nick Schacht

NICK SCHACHT is the Executive Vice President of GlobalLearningSystems
(GLS). In this role, he is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of GLS
operations, including the integration of product and service lines from
the GLS operating units and the development of integrated solutions for
GLS customers. He has a history of producing exceptional revenue growth
and profitability in the professional services and training industries.
Prior to joining GLS, Mr. Schacht was Group President, Americas, for IIR
B.V., where he was responsible for IIR’s training, conference,
exhibition, and publishing activities in North and South America. He is
the former President of ESI International, the world leader in project
management and contracting training and professional services, where he
also served in a variety of roles in his nine years with that company.
In particular, he was responsible for the company’s successful work for
many Fortune 500 customers. He has also been a Research Fellow at the
Logistics Management Institute, and a Supply Officer in the US Navy. Mr.
Schacht is an Honors Graduate of the US Naval Academy, and holds an MS
from The George Washington University and an MGA from the University of
Maryland University College.
