Murray S. Cohen

MURRAY S. COHEN is CEO and Board Chairman of Epolin, Inc., a public
company he founded in 1989. Prior to this, he was a founder and partner
in Accort Laboratories, which he started in 1984. His career included
positions as Vice President of Research at Borg Warner Chemicals, Lab
Director at Esso Research and Engineering and Department Head at Thiokol
Chemical Corporation (Reaction Motors Division). Dr. Cohen led a team
that discovered the carboranes (B10C2) and was involved in the
development of the Mimetanan Propellant. He has published a chapter in
the volume Advanced Propellant Chemistry and holds over 40 patents. He
has published extensively on Propellant Chemistry, Expanding Monomers
and Near Infrared Dye Chemistry. Epolin, Inc. is the leading worldwide
producer of Near Infrared Dyes. These dyes are now used in eyewear for
laser protection, welding, light filters, computer to plate printing,
and many imaging applications.
