Miles S. Nadal

MILES S. NADAL is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MDC
Corporation Inc. He is known as one of Canada’s distinguished
entrepreneurs and a leading contributor in community circles. He is the
Chairman and Founder of a number of business service organizations in
Canada. These organizations include MDC Corporation, Maxxcom Inc. and
First Asset Management. These organizations employ over 3,300 people and
have revenues exceeding $700 million dollars. The operations span a
broad geographic base including Canada, United States, Australia and the
United Kingdom. Mr. Nadal’s entrepreneurial business acumen coupled with
his excellent track record in corporate enterprise is the basis for the
successful growth strategy of the businesses he is involved with. Mr.
Nadal has received a significant number of awards for his
entrepreneurial endeavors including being awarded “The Top 40 Under 40”
award in 1998. In addition, Mr. Nadal received the prestigious
“Entrepreneur of the Year Award” in the “Services” category in 1999. Mr.
Nadal’s leadership extends to the philanthropic community as well; among
his current activities he serves on the Board of Directors and Executive
Committee of Mt. Sinai Hospital as well as the Board of Directors for
the Schulich School of Business. Mr. Nadal has been a significant
contributor to other charitable organizations, including the Reena
Foundation, a non-profit social service agency that is dedicated to
integrating people with developmental disabilities into the community
with dignity and respect.
