Michele B. Hincks

Michele B. Hincks is Vice President of Marketing at ChemConnect,
Inc. She joined ChemConnect in November 1999, bringing with her
more than 14 years of marketing experience in business-to-
business e-commerce, telecommunications products, and software
applications. In her initial role as head of ChemConnect’s
marketing communications group, Ms. Hincks was responsible for
all advertising, public relations, conferences and events,
collateral, and branding activities. During her time with
ChemConnect, she has been instrumental in developing and
implementing the ChemConnect brand and overall positioning
through an integrated marketing communications program. She was
appointed Vice President of Marketing in 2001. Before coming to
ChemConnect, Ms. Hincks held various senior business and consumer
marketing positions with Lucent Technologies and AT&T. Besides
successfully launching products such as Lucent’s www.messenger_
and AT&T Direct’ Ocean Service, Ms. Hincks has extensive
experience in market and strategic planning, product management
and competitive analysis. She holds an MBA in Marketing from
Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science from Douglass College.
