Michael S. Geltzeiler

MICHAEL S. GELTZEILER is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc., responsible for all of
the company’s global financial activities. He was appointed to this
position in September 2001. Previously, Mr. Geltzeiler was SVP and Chief
Financial Officer for ACNielsen, after serving as Controller and
Treasurer. He also served as ACNielsen’s SVP and Chief Financial Officer
for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, based in Belgium. Before
joining ACNielsen, Mr. Geltzeiler was Assistant Treasurer of The Dun &
Bradstreet Corporation. He was with Dun & Bradstreet for 17 years,
assuming a variety of senior financial positions at both the corporate
office and several subsidiaries. Mr. Geltzeiler joined Dun & Bradstreet
through the Internal Audit Department and progressed through a series of
positions of increasing responsibility including Audit Manger,
Controller, DBIS Europe, Middle East and Africa, and SVP and Chief
Financial Officer for NCH Promotional Services.
