Michael Lurye

MICHAEL LURYE is Vice President, Product Management for Exchange
Applications, Inc. He has been with Xchange since the acquisition
of Knowledge Stream Partners in April 2000. He has been
instrumental in delivering the industry-leading Xchange Real Time
solution, serving as the Program Manager on two major releases
(XRT 1.0 and 2.0). Both releases were completed on time and on
budget. In February 2001 he transitioned to the Product
Management role to lead the Customer Value Management initiative
(CVM). The objective of the CVM initiative was to develop a long-
term solution vision and product roadmap for Xchange. Mr. Lurye
was put in charge of the team of experts who developed a number
of innovative yet practical concepts, such as Value in Play. As
the leader of the newly established Technical Product Management
team within Xchange Product Operations, he defined the strategy
for combining the multiple isolated product offerings into a
coherent Xchange 8 suite. He established a strategic relationship
with a major BI vendor that allowed Xchange to deliver the next
generation Analytics offering. He played a key role in
negotiating a contract to outsource ongoing software maintenance
to a cost-effective offshore vendor, saving the company over $1
million per year. Prior to joining Xchange, Mr. Lurye worked at
leading CRM and marketing services companies, including Epsilon,
Tessera and Knowledge Stream Partners. He provided strategic
advice and consulting services to major clients in the
telecommunications, financial services and retail industries,
including BMG Entertainment, LL Bean, JC Penney, BellSouth,
AirTouch, GTE, Citigroup and Chase Manhattan. At Knowledge Stream
Partners, he led the team that developed and successfully
delivered an Alpha version of the innovative real time marketing
solution CRM1, which was subsequently released as Xchange Real
Time after KSP was acquired.
