MICHAEL LOUIS KRANDA joined Oxford Glycosciences Plc as Chief Executive
Officer in 1996 after 11 years with Immunex Corporation, where he held
the position of President and Chief Operating Officer from 1990 to 1996.
During his tenure with Immunex Corporation, annual revenues increased
from nil to US$160 million. Prior to joining Immunex Corporation, he
was the Chief of Staff in the office of the King County Prosecuting
Attorney in Seattle, Washington. Michael Kranda is currently a Board
member of the Washington Research Foundation.
