Michael J. Ward

MICHAEL J. WARD is President of CSX Transportation Inc., a
subsidiary of CSX Corporation. Mr. Ward has held various
positions with CSX Transportation since 1977. Mr. Ward’s business
and professional affiliations include Board of Directors,
Ashland, Inc.; CSX Corporation and Take Stock in Children;
Honorary Member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi; The
Florida Council of 100; and the Kentucky Coal Council. Mr. Ward
has a BS degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA degree
from Harvard Business School.
