MICHAEL HAMMOND is a Principal of Shattuck Hammond Partners LLC, and a
member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Mr. Hammond has focused on the
healthcare services industry for over 25 years. In these 25 years, Mr.
Hammond has consistently counseled senior management and boards of
directors in the development of optimal business and capital strategies.
He has also advised many leading healthcare companies in the development
of turnaround and reorganization strategies. Mr. Hammond had been a
Managing Director and President and CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers
Securities LLC and was also a Founding Principal of Shattuck Hammond
Partners, Inc. Prior to co-founding Shattuck Hammond Partners Inc., Mr.
Hammond managed the healthcare investment banking businesses at Salomon
Brothers and Morgan Stanley, and was a Principal at Cain Brothers,
Shattuck & Company. Prior to joining Solomon Brothers in 1978, Mr.
Hammond practiced law at Brown and Wood. Mr. Hammond received his A.B.
degree from Wabash College, and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt
University School of Law. He also attended the American University of
Beirut in Lebanon. He was previously the Chairman of the Board of
Danbury Health System and Danbury Hospital, and currently serves as a
Board Member of the Health System and Danbury Hospital and also as a
member of the Board of the Connecticut Hospital Association. Mr. Hammond
is on the Investment Committee for Shattuck Hammond Senior Housing Fund
LLC, a private equity fund focusing on the senior housing industry. Mr
Hammond also serves as a Director of Graham Global Investment Funds I
and II, hedge and money management funds, registered on the Irish Stock
Exchange, with over $5 billlion of assets under management.
