Michael E. McCarthy

MICHAEL E. McCARTHY is Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of Intier Automotive Inc. Mr. McCarthy, a
Chartered Accountant, has over 14 years’ experience in the
automotive industry. He joined Magna International Inc. in 1988
and was Controller of Magna until 1993. From 1994 to 2000 he held
several executive finance positions in Magna’s operating
subsidiaries both in North America in 1994 and 1995 and in Europe
from 1995 to 2000. In late 2000, Mr. McCarthy returned from
Europe with the commencement of the formation of Intier
Automotive Inc. Mr. McCarthy became Intier Automotive’s Executive
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2001. Prior to Mr.
McCarthy joining Magna in 1988, he was a Manager at Ernst &
Young, Toronto.
