Michael C. Culver

MICHAEL C. CULVER is President and Chief Executive Officer of
First Aviation Services Inc. FAvS is a worldwide leader in
providing services to aircraft operators and owns Aerospace
Products International, a growing aerospace parts distributor
based in Memphis, Tennessee. Until September 2001, API had
experienced compounded annual growth of 25% over the last five
years. FAvS completed the sale of their gas turbine overhaul and
repairs subsidiary, National Airmotive Corporation, to Rolls-
Royce on November 1, 1999. Mr. Culver’s responsibilities include
working closely with the senior management of the company’s
subsidiary, Aerospace Products International, Inc., to manage the
business on a day-to-day basis and to develop strategies at FAvS
for internal and external growth. Mr. Culver is co-founder
(together with Aaron Hollander) and principal of First Equity
Development, Inc., the leading investment firm specializing in
the aerospace industry. First Equity was created to assist the
management of aerospace companies on a wide range of business and
financial issues from mergers and acquisitions to financial
restructuring and raising capital. Prior to co-founding First
Equity Development, Mr. Culver worked in various positions at
Canadair where he gained his valuable operating experience before
becoming the Director of Marketing for the Challenger business
jet. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction
from McGill University in Montreal and his MBA from Harvard
University. Mr. Culver and Mr. Hollander’s holding company, First
Equity Group, owns, in addition to First Equity Development, Inc.
and their ownership in First Aviation Services Inc., First
Printing, Inc., a leading provider of services to the motor club
industry, First Racing, Inc., a motor racing team, and their
ownership position in the Skip Barber Group LLC. Mr. Culver is
Chairman of the Board of the Skip Barber Racing School LLC
(SBRS). SBRS is the world’s largest automotive education and
entertainment company.
