Melvyn Singer

Melvyn Singer is a media specialist accountant. Starting as a sole practitioner in the early 1970s, in 1985 he was appointed Senior Partner in a London accountancy practice, Berg Kaprow Hay Associates (later to become Berg Kaprow Lewis Associates). He specialised in advising rocknroll bands, solo artistes, record and management companies, film producers, film directors, other film technicians, and sport personalities. In 1995 he left the practice to set up London Media Finance, to advise independent film producers on financial packaging, and, in 1998, joined with Alistair MacLean-Clark to establish Random Harvest Pictures. Over the last three years he has executive produced Born Romantic, The War Bride, Octane and LD50.
Melvyn is an Authorised Public Accountant, of which body he is a council member. He also sits on the Disciplinary, and Licensing and Admissions Committee of the Chartered Association of Certified accountants.

Alistair MacLean-Clark Former Director of Production/Programming for Disney and Managing Director of Buena Vista UK (The Walt Disney Company) from 1989 to 1995. he managed a staff of over 60 production personnel across Europe, producing over 12 hours programming a week, with annual budgets in excess of $9million. Prior to Buena Vista, his career spanned a number of areas of the business, ranging from the technical side of the film business, on pictures such as Trail of the Pink Panther, Octopussy, and Superman II, to producing television commercials and television dramas. In 1998, together with Melvyn Singer, he establish Random Harvest Pictures as the management vehicle for Harvest Pictures Plc and Harvest Pictures II Limited, two tax-advantaged feature film production companies, raising over 7 million under the Enterprise Investment Scheme. Over the last three years he has produced The War Bride, Octane and LD50 and executive produced Born Romantic
