Melvyn E. Bergstein

MELVYN E. BERGSTEIN is Chairman and co-founder of Diamond Technology
Partners. A widely known leader in the information technology consulting
industry, he holds nearly 30 years of experience serving clients across
the United States and worldwide. Mr. Bergstein co-founded Diamond
Technology Partners in 1994 to help CEOs and other senior management
identify and create business strategies for the digital age, or what has
become known as digital strategies. Diamond is the only consulting firm
today serving the emerging digital strategy market. Under his
leadership, Diamond has become a premier consulting firm. Mr.
Bergstein’s distinguished consulting career unfolded during 21 years
with Arthur Andersen & Company’s consulting division, now Andersen
Consulting. A partner in that firm from 1977 to 1989, he managed major
client responsibilities. As the managing director of worldwide
technology from 1985 to 1989, he was elected to the board of Arthur
Andersen twice during that period and served as chairman of the
Consulting Oversight Committee during 1989. Mr. Bergstein is a trustee
of the Committee for Economic Development, a member of the Executives’
Club of Chicago, and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School of The
University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant.
