Martin Zimmerman

MARTIN ZIMMERMAN is Chairman and CEO of LINC Capital, Inc, a company he
founded in 1975. LINC provides equipment leasing, accounts receivable
and other asset-backed financing to emerging growth companies primarily
in healthcare and information technology, provides financing to vendors
and leasing companies, and rents, leases and sells analytical
instruments. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Zimmerman also served as CEO of
LINC Anthem, a joint venture with a unit of Anthem Insurance, until its
sale. Earlier, he founded and was President of Telco Marketing
Services, Inc., which pioneered the hospital equipment leasing field.
Mr. Zimmerman has been responsible for completing more than $2 billion
in financing. He earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1959 and a M.B.A. in
Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business in 1961. At Columbia,
he was a McKinsey Scholar and a Kennecott Copper Fellow. He is also a
member of the Business School’s Board of Overseers and a Trustee of the
Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
