MARTIN S. GRIMNES is the founder of the Company and since the Company’s
inception in 1984, has served as a director and between 1984 and 1987 as
President and Treasurer. Mr. Grimnes has been Chief Executive Officer
since the Company’s inception and Chairman of the Board since 1987. Mr.
Grimnes has a textile engineering degree from the Technische Akademie
e.V. in Hohenstein, Germany and a B.S. in Industrial Management from the
University of Vermont. Prior to founding the Company, he was export
manager for W.S. Libbey Co. of Lewiston, Maine, an industrial and
decorative textile manufacturer (1980-1984) and General Manager of
Sandvika Veveri A/S of Oslo, Norway, a decorative textile manufacturer
(1974- 1980).
