Martin Davey

Martin Davey is a Chartered Accountant and joined Cranswick as finance
director in early 1985 when the company operated from a single site
manufacturing animal feed and was owned by a group of Yorkshire farming
families. The management team took the company onto the UK Stock Market
later that year with a market cap of 4m. Martin was subsequently
appointed Chief Executive and, along with a skilled management team,
built the business into a multi-site operation with a market cap of
200m. Martin is 48 years old, married with 3 children, enjoys sport and
in fact still plays football
