MARK THIERER is President and CEO of SXC and serves on the SXC board of
directors. Mr. Thierer is a recognized leader in healthcare, with over 25 years
of experience in pharmacy benefits management (PBM) and healthcare information
technology (HCIT) markets. Prior to joining SXC, Mr. Thierer was the President
of Physicians Interactive, a division of Allscripts, Inc., the leading provider
of electronic health records, e-prescribing and information solutions for
physicians. Prior to Allscripts, Mr. Thierer spent 10 years with CaremarkRx, now
CVS/Caremark, where he was a corporate officer and key executive in helping
build Caremark into a market leading pharmacy benefits manager and specialty
pharmacy company. Mr. Thierer holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA in marketing.
