MARK L. PARR is a Managing Director, Equity Research Analyst, with
KeyBanc Capital Markets, a division of McDonald Investments Inc. With
the company since 1987, his research focuses on the metals industry. Mr.
Parr previously covered the specialty chemical and electronics
industries for McDonald Investments. Prior to that, he spent five years
as Vice President, Equity Analyst with Roulston and Co. He earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University in Oxford,
Ohio, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kent State
University. Mr. Parr is a Chartered Financial Analyst. In addition, he
is a member of the Association for Investment Management, the Cleveland
Society of Security Analysts and the Institute of Chartered Financial
Analysts. His coverage of the metals industry has received broad
recognition for achievement, including The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best
on the Street’ awards for stock picking and estimate accuracy as well as
the Reuters ‘Best of the Small and Mid Cap Analysts’ awards. Most
recently, The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on the Street’ survey
recognized Mr. Parr as the number three stock picker in the mining and
metals sector, with a 185.8% return.
