Mark D. Hanson

MARK D. HANSON is currently serving as Senior Vice President, Corporate
Development and Investor Relations of Siebel Systems, Inc. Since joining
Siebel Systems in December 1998, Mr. Hanson has been responsible for all
merger and acquisition activities at the company. With more than 20
years of experience in the computer software industry, Mr. Hanson has
held senior management positions with a variety of companies. Prior to
joining Siebel Systems, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer
of Visigenic Software, Inc. Mr. Hanson holds a BS in Marketing from
Santa Clara University and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
