Mark A. McEachen

MARK A. MCEACHEN, Executive Vice President and CFO, oversees Finance,
Investor Relations, Information Systems, Legal, Human Resources, and
Facilities for Excite@Home. His expertise in mergers and acquisitions,
developing processes and system, hyper-growth markets and international
experience will lead the financial growth of Excite@Home. Mr. McEachen
brings more than 18 years of experience in financial management for
medium and large-sized companies. Prior to Excite@Home, he served two
years as Corporate Vice President and Treasurer at Hughes Electronics
Corporation. He was responsible for a wide range of financial
operations and played a key role in the development and execution of the
overall strategy for DirecTV, Hughes’ broadband division for satellite
television broadcasting. Preceding Hughes, Mr. McEachen was President of
Transamerica Asset Management at Transamerica Corporation, where he was
responsible for managing over $18 billion in assets. He began his career
in financial management at Chrysler Corporation where he served for 15
years in a variety of finance-related roles. Mr. McEachen holds a dual
concentration MBA and BS degree in Finance from the University of
Windsor, Ontario, Canada and a BA degree in Economics from the
University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada.
