MARK A. FAUCI is OmniCorder Technologies, Inc.’s Founder and, since its
incorporation in 1997, has served as its President, Chief Executive
Officer and Chairman of the Board. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Fauci served a
variety of roles at Reuters Health Information Services, a Reuters owned
startup company based in Manhattan. Among his roles at Reuters, Mr.
Fauci headed New Business Development, was responsible for building
strategic relationships in the US and Europe, for developing strategic
technical and business plans, for maintaining key contacts and
relationships in the healthcare industry and for exploring commercial
applications of technology developed in private and public research
laboratories. In his earlier position at Reuters, as Director of
Technical Strategic Planning for Network Operations, he was responsible
for all network architecture design and development decisions. While
there he conducted Continuing Medical Education lectures at a variety
of leading medical centers on the subject of computer applications in
medicine. Prior to joining Reuters, he served as the President of
E.C.A., Inc. from 1991 to 1994, a consulting firm specializing in the
field of computer aided design and digital imaging systems. Mr. Fauci
also has seven years of experience as a Semiconductor Engineer at
Standard Microsystems Corporation. His work there included research,
development and the manufacture of integrated circuits utilizing the
same processes found in the manufacturing of state-of-the-art infrared
FPA imaging sensors that OmniCorder Technologies now uses. Mr. Fauci has
participated directly in research and development activities at
OmniCorder and has co-authored publications on the subject of biomedical
applications of infrared sensors and has two pending inventions in the
field. He has been invited as a speaker on the subject in the US and
Europe and has been featured internationally in newspaper and magazine
articles, and television and radio interviews. Mr. Fauci holds a BS in
Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and an MBA
from Dowling College. He was recently inducted as an Honorary Member of
Alpha Chi, a national honor society, in recognition of his contribution
towards excellence in scholarship. Mr. Fauci, his wife Kimberly, and
three children are lifelong residents of Long Island.
