Marco A. Emrich

MARCO A. EMRICH was appointed CEO, President and Director of the company in September 1999. He has over 20 years of software industry experience in the database management, applications development, software quality management, applications management and e-business marketplaces. Mr. Emrich had most recently been President and CEO of Cambridge-based e-commerce solutions provider Empresa Inc. Prior to joining Empresa, Inc., Mr. Emrich was President, CEO and Chairman of CenterLine Software, Inc., where he created and launched a Web-based application that enables businesses to monitor, manage, and report on the implementation and delivery of network-centric or multi-tier distributed business applications. Earlier positions held by Mr. Emrich included: Senior Director of Cincom Systems, Inc.s Advanced Technology Group; Manager, NAS Information Network Technology at Digital Equipment Corporation; and Manager of Database Administration at Telecommunications of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Mr. Emrich holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Systems Engineering.
