Luis Leon

LUIS LEON is the Chief Financial Officer of Graphic Packaging
International Corporation, the leading North American manufacturer of
folding cartons with revenues in excess of $1 billion. Prior to joining
Graphic Packaging, Mr. Leon was with GS Industries, Inc., for seven
years, including positions as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice
President of operations for the Mining Products division, which had 13
manufacturing facilities located in eight different countries. During
the course of his 27-year career in finance, Mr. Leon has spent over 16
of those years in a highly levered environment. His experience includes
transforming turnaround situations into growth companies as well as
leading 19 M&A transactions and negotiating over 30 debt and/or equity
deals. Most recently, Mr. Leon led the recapitalization of Graphic
Packaging’s debt, placing $300 million in public high-yield bonds and
negotiating a $275 million bank revolving credit facility and a $175
million bank term credit facility. Mr. Leon has his Bachelor of Science
in Finance from the University of Denver, and an MBA from Oklahoma City
University.
