LINDA MARROQUIN, Co-Founder and CEO of FrogPad Inc. Ms. Marroquin is an
entrepreneur with over twenty-five years in the Telecommunications and
Wireless industries. She founded Phone Brokers in 1977 and as partner in
Telecom Financing Consultants, Ltd., worked on funding telecommunication
infrastructure projects in Latin America. She also started the Voice
Mail industry in 12 countries in Latin America. Ms. Marroquin has served
as CEO for FrogPad’ since October 1998. In addition, she was recognized
for community leadership as a Civil Service Commissioner for the City of
Houston, founding board member for the Small Business Development
Corporation for the city of Houston, founding board member for the
Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Business Woman of the Year and Minority Business Woman of the Year in
Houston, Texas. Ms. Marroquin has served in prominent roles in business
development in the wireless industry in Latin America. She was a Houston
Civil Service Commissioner, and US Chamber of Commerce “Business Woman
of the Year.”
