Lewis S. Gruber

LEWIS S. GRUBER, President, Chief Executive Officer, Director, and a
founder of the company, was a patent counsel, a strategy consultant and
a partner with the Chicago-based law firm Marshall, O’Toole, Gerstein,
Murray & Borun. While at Marshall O’Toole, Mr. Gruber’s clients included
Abbott, Amgen, Chiron, Genentech and Xoma. Mr. Gruber has prosecuted and
obtained numerous biotechnology patents, including the SBH patent. Mr.
Gruber holds a BS. in sociology, MS. in cell biology and genetics from
the University of Arizona and a JD from Arizona State University.
