Lester W. Engebretson

LESTER W. ENGEBRETSON, Ph.D., President and Chairman, has over thirty-
five years’ experience in the securities field. He acquired substantial
experience in securities analysis during eight successful years as a top
producing registered Account Executive for a major New York Stock
Exchange member firm. By the age of thirty-four he became Executive
Vice-President, Director of Research/ Portfolio Management of an
Exchange member firm in Los Angeles. During this time he broadened his
activities as a registered Investment Advisor. In 1970 he founded
Engebretson Capital Management as an investment counsel firm to
specialize in securities analysis and investment management. His
economic forecasts have been published annually in national publications
since 1975. Through the years, due to the firm’s investment success, Dr.
Engebretson has become sought after as a lecturer and author nationwide,
and he has built an international reputation as an economist and a
leading securities analyst. Dr. Engebretson holds a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Finance from the University of California and a Doctorate
Degree of Business Administration.
