KURT HOEFER, CFA, performs portfolio management and business development
for the Golub Group. Prior to joining the firm, he founded and built
Hoefer Capital Management, LLC, to counsel families and individuals on
investment and financial matters. Previously, he was an investment
banker with Thomas Weisel Partners and Banc of America Securities and an
institutional stock analyst at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Hoefer is a
graduate of Stanford University, where he received a BA in Economics,
and the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, where he earned an MBA.
He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Melanie, and two children.
