Kevin R. Sayer

KEVIN R. SAYER has served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief
Financial Officer of MiniMed Inc. since February, 1996. Mr. Sayer
joined the Company in May 1994 as Vice President, Finance and Chief
Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Sayer spent the
previous 11 years with Ernst & Young, where he specialized in providing
auditing, accounting and consulting services to high growth companies,
primarily in the health care and high technology industry segments. Mr.
Sayer received a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University in
1981 and received a Masters degree in Accounting/Information Systems
from Brigham Young University in 1983.
