Kevin Ashby

KEVIN ASHBY, CEO of Patsystems Plc, has over 20 years’ experience in
senior positions in technology and financial sector companies. Before
joining Patsystems, he was Chief Executive of WISe, an e-commerce
enabler for the global insurance industry. WISe’s services included
Trusted Trading, a secure electronic trading environment. Mr. Ashby was
instrumental in turning WISe from a not-for-profit co-operative, founded
and owned by the insurance community, into a commercial organisation.
WISe was created by the merger of three industry-owned organisations,
including LIMNET, where Mr. Ashby had previously been Chief Executive.
At LIMNET, he introduced a new electronic trading system for the London
Insurance Market. Mr. Ashby has also been an IT partner for KPMG and the
Director of IT at TDG Plc.
