Kenneth E. Goodman

KENNETH E. GOODMAN, CPA, was elected President and Chief Operating
Officer of Forest Laboratories, Inc. on November 30, 1998. Mr. Goodman
is also a Director of the Company. Prior to November 1998, he was
Executive Vice President-Operations and Chief Financial Officer since
February 1998 and was Vice President-Finance since 1980. For five years
prior to joining Forest, he held various senior financial positions at
American Home Products. Mr. Goodman was a CPA with Main Hurdman. Mr.
Goodman graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. degree in
accounting
in 1970.
