Ken Mullen

KEN MULLEN is President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of
Plains Energy Services, Ltd., a publicly traded integrated oil and gas
service company. From 1996’1997, he was Chief Financial Officer, Vice
President of Finance and Corporate Secretary of Plains Energy Services,
Ltd. Prior to joining Plains Energy, Mr. Mullen was a Tax Lawyer for
Shea Nerland Calnan, Barristers & Solicitors, specializing in corporate
tax planning and structuring of acquisitions, start-ups and corporate
combinations from 1989-1996; from 1983-1989, he was a Chartered
Accountant/Tax Manager with Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants
specializing in corporate tax and financial planning. Mr. Mullen
attended The Law Society of Alberta and is a member 1992-present;
member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta (CICA) 1985-
present. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, University of Calgary ‘
1992 and a Bachelor of Commerce degree, University of Calgary ‘ 1983.
