Julian Ashby

JULIAN ASHBY is Chairman and co-founder of the business that is now
HACAS Group PLC. After his MA at Oxford, his initial career was in
international merchant banking. He entered the social housing sector in
1974 and co-founded HACAS in 1979. He has been Chief Executive and
Chair of many organisations (usually in a trouble-shooting capacity) and
undertaken four Statutory Inquiries. He is the author of many leading
publications on governance and risk management and, until recently was a
Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics.
