Joseph P. Sambataro

JOSEPH P. SAMBATARO is President and Chief Executive Officer of Labor
Ready, Inc. He first joined Labor Ready in August 1997, serving as
Executive Vice President, Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and
Assistant Secretary. He managed all financial aspects of the company’s
rapid growth from 200 offices and $163 million in revenue to 850 offices
and nearly $1 billion in revenue. He retired as executive vice president
in March 2001, while remaining on the Board. He returned to Labor Ready
in September 2001, as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr.
Sambataro was previously a partner with Peat Marwick and managing
partner of BDO Seidman, LLP, CPA firms, implementing ‘Plans for
Profitability’ in several industries for different clients. He designed
programs and facilitated management groups to turn around or enhance the
company’s profits. He also served as co-founder, Director, Chief
Executive Officer and Vice President of Finance for an environmental
services company. Mr. Sambataro managed overall operations of the
corporation including strategizing and negotiating corporate joint
ventures and capital sources.
