JOSEPH ALTOBELLO is Director and Senior Analyst in CIBC World Markets’
consumer and household products equity research group. His primary areas
of coverage include personal care and household products suppliers.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Altobello had been in CIBC’s wireline
telecom services group since joining the company in early 2000. Before
CIBC, he was an Associate at Schroders, covering major domestic local
and long distance telecom service providers. From 1996-1999, he was at
Salomon Smith Barney, covering the oil and natural gas exploration and
production sector. Mr. Altobello graduated summa cum laude from Penn
State University in 1995 with a BS in Finance and a minor in Economics.
He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
