John Napier

JOHN NAPIER was appointed to the Board of Gearhouse in November 1995.
Mr Napier recently retired as Group Finance Director for WH Smith Group
Plc, which he joined in 1989. Prior to this, he was a senior partner
with Touche Ross & Co. John Napier has been acting in the capacity of
Chief Executive or Gearhouse Group Plc since May 1999. Mr Napier is
also Non Executive Director of Devro Plc and Wickes Plc.
