John McGonegal

JOHN MCGONEGAL is Vice President of equity sales and issuer services at
the American Stock Exchange’ functions. He plays an integral role in
increasing Amex’s presence within the venture capital, investment
banking and business communities, while focusing on the acquisition and
retention of Amex company listings. Prior to joining Amex in 2002, Mr.
McGonegal was at Quick & Reilly for 10 years, where he eventually became
branch manager at their largest US branch office network. He was
responsible for overseeing the daily operations, compliance and
management of the New York Stock Exchange member firm branch office, in
addition to the investment activities at 17 other New York Metro Fleet
Bank locations. These branches represented over $6 billion in invested
customer assets and 50 employees. Mr. McGonegal received a bachelor’s
degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has his
Series 4 (options principal), 7, 8, 63 and 65 licenses. He also holds
the CMFC designation from the College of Financial Planning, and is a
former NCAA basketball player. He was recently named one of Irish
America Magazine’s Wall Street 50 for 2003.
