John Katzman

JOHN KATZMAN founded The Princeton Review shortly after graduating from
Princeton University in 1981. He first taught his unique SAT test-
preparation course to 15 high school students in his parent’s New York
City apartment. Mr. Katzman also heads The Princeton Review Foundation,
a non-profit company that helps disadvantaged students prepare for
college admission, and administers a unique portfolio-based college
scholarship program in cooperation with corporations for their
employees. A co-author of five books on testing and admissions, Mr.
Katzman’s most recent book, Class Action: How to Create Accountability,
Innovation and Excellence in American Schools was published in May 1995
by Random House.
