John G. Simon

JOHN G. SIMON has served as UroMed Corporation’s president and CEO since
he founded the company at age 28 in October 1990. Prior to starting Uro
Med, Simon had an early career as a venture capitalist in Boston,
working first at Charles River Ventures and subsequently at Highland
Capital Partners where he specialized in biotechnology investments.
Simon received his B.A. from Harvard University, and holds a second B.A.
from Oxford University which he earned while on a Rhodes scholarship in
1986. After his Rhodes Scholarship, Simon spent a brief time on the
professional European tennis circuit.
