Jim Balsillie

JIM BALSILLIE is Chairman of the Board of Directors and a co-Chief
Executive Officer of Research In Motion. Prior to joining Research In
Motion in 1992, he was Executive Vice President and a Director of a
private engineering company with $80 million in sales and held corporate
finance roles at two major North American firms. He is a graduate of the
University of Toronto and Harvard Graduate School of Business
Administration and he is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAO.
