Jeffry Sterba is President and CEO of American Water Works Company, Inc. He brings more than 30 years of operational experience and industry knowledge to the company. Previously, Mr. Sterba served as Chairman and CEO of PNM Resources, Inc., the parent company of PNM, Texas-New Mexico Power Co. (TNMP) and First Choice Power. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Sterba was Executive Vice President of United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC). Mr. Sterba earned a bachelor’s degree and completed postgraduate work in economics at Washington University in St. Louis, and he was accepted as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago.
