Jeffrey M. Silber

Jeffrey M. Silber is a Managing Director and Research Analyst covering
the business services and educational sectors for Harris Nesbitt
(formerly Gerard Klauer Mattison). Mr. Silber’s primary focus is that of
writing research reports and making stock recommendations for the
company’s larger institutional clients, such as Fidelity Investments and
T. Rowe Price. His research has been recognized by a number of industry
surveys including: the Wall Street Journal’s Best on Street Analysts
Survey, the Institutional Investor All-American Research team, the
Reuters survey of small and mid-cap fund managers and the Zacks.com All-
Star Analyst team. He has been quoted by numerous publications including
The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek and has appeared on CNBC, CNN
and Bloomberg TV to discuss the industries he follows. Prior to joining
Gerard Klauer Mattison in 1996, he was with Deloitte Consulting for six
years, working on numerous financial, operations, marketing and strategy
engagements in various industries including sports and entertainment,
consumer products, retail and real estate. In addition, he directed
Deloitte’s PeerScape business, a group devoted to creating financial
benchmarking products and services. Earlier, he worked in the Audit and
Tax departments at KPMG Peat Marwick for four years. A Certified Public
Accountant, he earned a BS from Yeshiva University and an MBA from the
Wharton School of Business
