Jeffrey A. Harris

JEFFREY A. HARRIS is President and Chief Operating Officer of Post
Properties, Inc., a real estate investment trust that develops, owns and
manages Post’ apartment communities. Mr. Harris is active in several
professional organizations, including the National Multi Housing Council
and the Atlanta Apartment Association, where he served as President in
1997, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors. He has been a
frequent speaker at Multi-Housing World and National Apartment
Association functions. In 1997, Mr. Harris was named Multifamily
Executive of the Year by Multifamily Magazine. In 1998, he was named a
Rising Star by Commercial Property News. Mr. Harris is a full member of
the Urban Land Institute and serves on its Multi-Family Council. A
native of Atlanta, Mr. Harris joined Post in 1984 after completing his
Master’s in Business Administration at Dartmouth College. He earned his
undergraduate degree Cum Laude in Economics from Davidson College. Mr.
Harris is married with two sons.
