Jean Archambault

JEAN ARCHAMBAULT is the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Phytobiotech Inc., a biopharmaceutical company which he founded
in 1997 and dedicated to the discovery, development and
commercialization of novel plant-derived drugs to treat
infectious diseases and cancer. In 1973, he graduated from cole
Polytechnique de Montral with a degree in Chemical Engineering
and obtained an MSc in 1977. Dr. Archambault went on to complete
an MBA in 1981 as well a PhD in 1987 from McGill University. With
more than 55 scientific contributions, he is a well-known
engineer and scientist in the field of plant cell culture
bioengineering. Along with 10 years of industrial experience, Dr.
Archambault was a Professor and head of the Chemical Engineering
Department at the Universit du Qubec Trois-Rivires (UQTR)
and an Associate Professor at the cole Polytechnique de Montral.
