James G. Murphy

JAMES G. MURPHY is Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and
Chief Financial Officer of Immunicon Corp. He is a highly experienced
CFO with both private and public company experience in medical products
and technology companies. Mr. Murphy joined Immunicon in April 1999.
Previously, he was Vice President Finance and Administration and CFO at
Apollon, Inc., a biotechnology company engaged in DNA-based vaccines and
gene therapy. Prior to Apollon, Mr. Murphy held senior finance positions
in several highly successful technology and telecommunications
companies, including ATx Telecom Systems, Infopage, American Cellular
Network Corp., and COMCAST. Earlier in his career, Mr. Murphy was an
auditor with Coopers & Lybrand. He holds a BS degree, cum laude, in
Accounting from Villanova University and is a CPA in the state of
Pennsylvania.
