J. Paul Charron

J. PAUL CHARRON became President and Chief Executive Officer of Acclaim
Energy Trust in October 2002, following the Ketch Energy reverse
takeover of Acclaim. Prior, he served as Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of Ketch Energy from April 2000. During his service at
Ketch Energy, the company successfully completed several corporate and
property transactions with an accompanying increase in market
capitalization from $30 to $275 million. His career includes serving as
Managing Director, Investment Banking of BMO Nesbitt Burns. Prior to
that he was Vice President, Finance of Morrison Petroleums until its
merger with Northstar Energy in March 1997. He is a 1980 graduate of the
University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and in 1982
received his Chartered Accountant designation. He is a Director of
Acclaim Energy Trust and Ketch Resources Ltd.
