J. Brad McGee

J. BRAD MCGEE is Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of
Tyco International Ltd., a $28 billion global diversified manufacturing
company listed on the New York Stock Exchange and headquartered in
Pembroke, Bermuda. He is responsible for corporate strategy, including
Internet initiatives. In addition, he is a member of Tyco’s three person
Corporate Strategy Council along with the Chairman/CEO and CFO. From
January 1999 to September 2000, Mr. McGee was Senior Vice President of
Tyco, with corporate responsibility for investor and public relations
and operational responsibility for ADT Automotive. From July 1995 to
January 1999, Mr. McGee was President – Tyco Specialty Products, with
operational responsibility for six companies in diverse industries.
Prior to this appointment, he served four years as Director of Financial
Planning and Development. In this role, Mr. McGee was responsible for
developing corporate strategy; for assisting in analysis, negotiation
and implementation of Tyco’s acquisitions; and for advising the CEO on
operational issues. Prior to joining Tyco in 1991, Mr. McGee was a
Senior Manager at the management consulting firm Quantum Associates in
Boston. Quantum Associates specializes in providing management
consulting to the CEO’s of Fortune 200 companies. Previously, he served
on nuclear submarines with the US Navy, and has been selected for
Captain in the US Naval Reserve. Mr. McGee graduated with a Bachelor of
Science in Systems Engineering from the US Naval Academy, and a Master
of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
