J. B. Groh

J.B. GROH is a Vice President and Research Analyst at D.A. Davidson &
Company. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson in July 2001, Mr. Groh spent six
years, most recently as Vice President, at Crown Point Group, Ltd., a
boutique investment banking firm based in Portland. There, he was
involved in raising capital for public and private companies and in M&A
activity, and performed business valuations in a variety of industries.
Prior to joining Crown Point, Mr. Groh. served as an equity research
analyst for a national broker-dealer and as assistant to the portfolio
manager at an investment management firm. He received his bachelor’s
degree in finance from the University of Arizona and his MBA in finance
and accounting from the Karl Eller Graduate School of Management at the
University of Arizona. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst
designation and is a member of the Association for Investment Management
and Research and the Portland Society of Financial Analysts.
