Hugh Wynne

Hugh Wynne is a Senior Research Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC, covering the U.S. power industry. Before joining Bernstein in 2001, he was Vice President of Finance for ABB Energy Ventures, an independent power producer and member of the ABB Group, where he was responsible for financing the construction and acquisition of power generation and transmission projects in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President in Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. investment banking department, where he advised independent power producers on the nonrecourse financing of new generation projects, international utility companies on debt and equity financing, and developing country governments on the privatization of state-owned telecom and energy companies. He graduated from Harvard College, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and earned his master’s degree in economics from Stanford University.
